Positive: Hot tub, the spacious rooms, most areas were well equipped, comfortable generally. The ensuites were good as not affected by downstairs water heater.
Negative: There were some glaring issues with the clenliness on arrival. Clump of hair under dressing table in 1 bedroom. Crumbs on bedside in another, the cooker hood had layer of dust above where you cook, under the raised chairs quite dirty and floors had not been properly vaccumed. The kitchen was probably short of pans, baking trays and serving dishes. The small selection of sharp knives was less of an issue as you can wash, however if you were preparing more of a mix of veg and meat more may be handy. The water heater didnt appear to be programmed, and oddlyy the water heater controls are located next to the floor nearly, between the master bed and ensuite downstairs, and not the utility room or kitchen. No broom. The quilts were nice but way too thick for time of year, as there are no cooling solutions and your sleeping in the roof, it wasnt hotter than low to mid 20s. The laudry whirler in garden was broken. believe somebody broke the strings and retied, and now cannot lock it open to use, but there was an airer and we only did 2 smallish washes so for us it was fine. It also appeared the provided high chair the fastener wasnt attached correctly and stairgate at bottom of stairs as a fixture, but no upstairs stairgate. Some of the availability issues pertain to the potential number of people that could stay our group was 4 adults a toddler and a 5 year old. 2 of us are veggie and 2 adults meat eaters
Summary: We had a very good time. It looks like their cleaning team may be letting them down
