Summary: We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Cowichan Bay Hideaway. It was a rainy weekend but made extra cozy with the fireplace. The space has a lot of charm and character for an older home. The ocean views are stunning. The surrounding trees were full of song birds which we could see up close with the telescope along with the many boats in the harbor. The kitchen is fully stocked and the linen closet too. If you are wanting to walk into Cowichan Bay it is about 10 min downhill into the village along quiet, residential streets. We felt safe and enjoyed the privacy of the neighborhod. We'd love to stay again!

Summary: everything is as shown, very well equipped home. Only negative is that i had no response from the host when i sent a message. the stairs are steep going upstairs but that was clearly explained on the site. would definitely recommend this place.
