Summary: The front door was clearly broken and repaired poorly- it requires great deal of effort to align the deadbolt for locking/unlocking. The place is musty and dirty- there's a solid 1/4 inch of dust on the wood ledges and spiderwebs hanging from the ceilings, and there are several dehumidifiers working at capacity. The carpets show visible stains- even the throw rugs in the bathroom that could easily be tossed- I don't understand why they would leave them there?? The towels had a sour smell mixed with heavy perfume scent to them- like they were left in the washer too long and then sprayed with perfume to cover the mustiness.This place desperately needs a deep clean.

Summary: Property was nice. Lots of traffic in and out of shared driveway. Large trailer was parked outside of kitchen window. Weather wasn’t great and the water was very muddy from remnants of Helene.

Summary: First of all the home is beautiful and cozy. Was easy to add 2 days for earlier arrival. Home needs better cleaning service to make owner aware of problems. Many lights had no light bulbs or bulbs that had blown out. Thank goodness there were extra bulbs in the cabinets but should not have to add or change light bulbs in order to see. Many of family are coffee drinkers and a one cup Kuriege is not sufficient. Bought a 10 cup and left it there when we left. Hope that resolves that problem for others in the future, some of the washcloths had sour smells when wet. Maybe washed and not dried totally when put away. The front door did not lock when we went out. Notified the contact and followed their instructions but still wouldn’t work. Did not like leaving the home unlocked. Only time it would lock was when I could turn the lock from the inside. Son did not get to use the boat sli. As the ramp is very very steep and damaged his trailer trying to get to the water. Really needed a 4 wheel drive truck to get the boat in the water. Don’t get me wrong we had a wonderful time. Just some inconveniences.

Summary: The house was absolutely amazing and had a beautiful view. It was perfect for my little family. Unfortunately the neighbors were partying the entire time all hours of the night. Peeling out of the driveway waking us up several times. Screaming and yelling at each other. I other.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay! Plenty of room for all 8 of us. Conveniently located to the lake and town. It was clean and well stocked. Hot tub was huge and worked great. Kids loved using the kayaks and paddle boat around the river. Gorgeous views! Although close to other houses we felt like we had plenty of privacy. The owner was friendly and responsive. We can’t wait to go back!
