Summary: This was our first trip to Carolina Beach and it will not be our last! The hotel has a beautiful view of the beach. We arrived at night and was greeted warmly by the front desk. Our room had a nice view but the TV was not working correctly. When we let the front desk know, they kindly offered to fix it but then also offered an upgrade. We were given a top floor suite with an even better view. We were able to sit on the balcony and watch the sun rise every morning. Even the bed was super comfortable. Plus it is facing the ocean so you can just open the balcony door and enjoy the view from bed. The parking is about $15 a day but definitely worth it. The hotel is perfect walking distance to shops and restaurants. Both pools were large enough for everyone there to have space but not too big for little ones. We did get engaged on this trip, so I may be a bit biased, but we will totally be back!
