Positive: I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel for a number of reasons. First off, the location is fantastic. It’s right across from the mall and just a short hop over the bridge to New Orleans. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the area isn’t too congested, so it’s easy to get around. I also loved that the rooms were spacious and that the pool and gym areas were really nice. Overall, the hotel had a welcoming feel, and a big highlight was the staff. The lady who checked me in was super pleasant and efficient, and everyone I encountered was really friendly.

Negative: The main downside for me was that they didn’t provide extra towels very easily. Even though there was a sign saying you could leave used towels on the floor if you needed fresh ones, I found that they weren’t replaced unless I specifically asked. I noticed a couple of other reviews mentioned the same thing, so it seems to be a bit of a trend. It would be nice if they could just refresh the towels without needing a request, even if they don’t fully clean the room each day. As for other things, the hotel does show a little wear and tear in places like the bathroom and some furniture, but that’s more of an observation than a dealbreaker for me.
