Summary: Very nice room just the bed wasn’t comfortable at all but overall very nice place and the staff were absolutely wonderful

Summary: We called the day prior to arrival and asked for an early check in due to our plans for the next day. They said it wasn't guaranteed but shouldn't be a problem. The front desk person we dealt with when we first arrived (around 3:00pm) was a bit rude, seemed like we were an annoyance and after all the formalities, authorizing the credit card, etc tells us there isn't a room ready. I asked if there was a king bed room with a couch available, she says yes but because we booked on hotels.ca we can't switch room types. I ask what they can do for us, she says they can call us when room is ready (which they never did). I said, there isn't anything you can do so we can get ready to go to Cirque du Soleil? She says we can use the public washrooms on 2nd floor to get changed etc. I am sorry but that is ridiculous. I worked at the Palliser, that lack of kindness/assistance most definitely would not have flown there. So we changed in our car in the public parking lot - ridiculous. The worst part was, when we actually checked in later - they re-authorized the credit card which then was declined because the original hold was already on it. Very poor customer service in my opinion.

Summary: Room was great. However, had a fire alarm at 3am that evacuated the building. Things like that can happen. However, after we returned to the building, they weren't able to turn off the strobing alarm lights in the rooms for over 2 hours! As compensation, they offered a free breakfast, but wouldn't honor it after 11am (after 3+ hours of interrupting our sleep)! After protesting to the front desk and restaurant manager, I finally got lunch at 1pm.

Summary: It was in a nice area and very walkable. Expedia made several errors in by reservation/booking and although the staff at the hotel tried to help they were not able and told me to call Expedia which is extremely hard to do.

Summary: We loved our stay at the Courtyard. Staff was helpful, everything was very clean, beds were comfortable. The only negative was that we had to use the valet to park the car and every day it came back smelling of beer. I don't know where they're parking them but it's not good, especially as it was a rental car. Everything else was great!
