Summary: We went to Pirates Cov waterpark. Starve Rock hiking. But when we came back to the house it was like home. We all live in the country in Indiana and love it. Very clean lots of room. The kids had fun deciding what room they were going to sleep in. Thank u so much for our stsy

Summary: This house is AMAZING! It's very difficult to find 5 bedroom houses that are reasonably priced for our annual fall get together. We have family members from Ohio, Iowa, and Missouri that gather for a weekend of reconnecting and fun. The Kane Family Farm right next door to the house made this year's reunion one of the best. The game room is awesome, the bedrooms are huge, and beds are very comfortable. Overall, one of the best houses we have ever rented.

Summary: Our group of 13 adults and kids had a great stay. The place had plenty of room for all of us to comfortably eat, sleep, play games, hang out, etc. The patio and fire pit was a great night time hangout spot. Starved Rock State Park was close by for some nice hikes. We had a couple minor annoyances in that I had to exchange the propane tank for the grill because it was empty but they promptly reimbursed me. There were also no useable plastic darts which was a let down for the kids. All and all it was great though and would recommend to others.

Summary: Clean, plenty of space, and close to all the state parks in the area! Plenty of great restaurants nearby, too. This VRBO is owned by Heritage Harbor, so we first checked in at their Welcome Center which was friendly and quick. The location of the VRBO is ideal, about 10 minutes outside of town in the country. No neighbors nearby, so a nice private area to enjoy. We had 8 adults and 2 babies, and we had plenty of space. It is definitely the most spacious VRBO I have even booked. With 5 bedrooms and 3 baths, it was just great! Large living room, too, and a basement with a large bar area with darts, foosball, and air hockey table. One thing particularly stood out: this place was super clean, and their housekeeping should be commended on such an awesome job. We enjoyed Starved Rock State Park and Buffalo Rock State Park as part of our stay. We also had access to their swimming pool, which is about one block from the Welcome Center. We went one morning and had the pool to ourselves. Very clean and tidy, and we noticed a cleaning crew had come in to clean the two bathrooms while we were swimming. Again, I must commend them on cleanliness. One evening back at the VRBO, we enjoyed the firepit and had smores. We all agreed that we would all enjoy staying here again!

Summary: Located halfway between Marseilles and Ottawa, where we spent time in both towns. Very large bedrooms and entertaining areas. Only issue was a very cold basement where 2 of the bedrooms are located. Hard to regulate temp in basement, must be regulated by upstairs thermostate. Would still stay there again.

Summary: We came to my daughter’s wedding from Washington (Mt Adam’s) , Iowa , Northern California, Southern California . First time to have all four grandchildren at the same time . It’s very private and we were welcomed after we were settled in. Very polite family . Thank you so much for bringing firewood . We never found the time for the pond for fishing but felt at home . Youngest grandson ran through the patio screen door after the incident my grandson learned how to replace screen in a door !! Great times . Would love to come again . Yes my oldest grandson whoooped me in air hockey .. peace from our family to yours.
