Finca Buenavista is a 200 year old restored Canarian farmhouse. It has breathtaking coastal views of the South of Tenerife including Los Christianos and Playa De Las Americas. It is set in a peaceful 4000 metre plot near the pretty Spanish village of Arona with all local amenities including supermarket, chemist, post office bank a few bars and restaurants. Yet it is only 15 minutes drive to the coast with its many beaches as well as bars, restaurants and shops and choice of recreational activities including the famous Siam waterpark.There is a twin and double with shared bathroom on the ground floor and a twin and master bedroom on the first floor with a shared shower room. The house is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden with pool, table tennis table, barbecue area and covered pergola with seating for 8 as well as a fire pit for cooler evenings. The house even has its own cave.

Summary: This property is absolutely stunning. It's a view you'd never get tired of looking at, and the grounds are wonderfully maintained gardens and spaces, across multiple levels. My three year old loved exploring for pine cones to put on the fire pit.Inside it's a similar story, big open spaces, everything you'd want and need and very secure with an alarm and cameras.The location is fantastic, arona is a beautiful village, the walk to and from is great (I don't advise doing it with prams!!) and the aroma cafe was particularly great, we visited most days. There's also a park there for little ones.It's conveniently located near Los christianos, PDL Americas and Adeje, we visited them all. Worth bearing in mind that the weather up in the villa is vastly different than down there, but we did travel in March, so expected it.

Summary: Villa had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Very clean and well equipped. Views were amazing and the local bakery sells delicious pastries. Jim was incredibly helpful when we arrived, I’m sure we’ll be back again! Thank you Julie for a wonderful stay

Summary: The house location is wonderful. However we had ongoing issues with hot water which was scalding all the time and there was no cold water. This was an issue with previous booking according to manager who didn’t readily attend to sort the problem out and in some cases attended the next day leaving us without facility to shower. This stress ruined our holiday

Summary: Beautiful spacious villa offering outdoor heated pool. Completely private in picturesque surroundings. Our family group of teens and adults spent the perfect holiday here. Just the treat we all so deserved. Communications were never too difficult. Jim made every effort to help us settle. The location is stunning. Recommend a confident driver in the party and a car hire or use cabs. Only draw back was it wasn't really walking distance to restaurants but that wasn't a problem for us. Recommend booking, one not to miss, we would definitely return. Thanks Julie the owner and Jim for all the tips and help.

Summary: Stunning villa. Great communication, Jim very welcoming. Had an abundance of crockery, cooking utensils etc. Car absolutely essential as its quite a challenging walk to Aerona(very steep) If its an away from it all holiday you want then this is definitely the villa for you.

Summary: We had a week of fabulous weather and super excursions. The house is as descibed in a super location up in the mountain with a fantastic view and equipped with all necessary amenities. The host Jim is very helpful and super friendly. All in all a superb vacation.

Summary: The Villa with the pool was amazing, thank you very much Julie. The manager on side was also great, when we need him, he was on the object in less than 10 minutes. The view from the house is great. Everything was really great.

Summary: The house is very much as described in the listing. It is spacious inside and out, has all of the facilities you need for a great stay. There is plenty of outside space around the pool and gardens which made it perfect for family BBQs. The location is quite remote and taxis into the resort areas are not cheap. We had a good balance of Tim in the property and trips into town

Summary: The house is in a private and very peaceful location but handy for roads leading to the coast and up into the mountains. The gardens are a real delight with all sorts of beautiful plants and there's a stunning view down to the coast from the terrace. We enjoyed watching the lizards popping up around the garden. We made good use of the pool. The beds were comfortable, the house was well-equipped. There's even Netflix on the TV.... Arrival was very smooth, Jim met us at the petrol station in Arona to show us the way. Jim lives locally and is available if there are any problems - which there weren't! Certainly will come here again.

Summary: Beautiful villa in a stunning setting. Quite remote so do need a car - but perfect for us as could relax at the villa or drive to good choice of beaches within 15- 20 mins drive. Also very close to Siam Park which was amazing. Pool a little cold but this was expected as middle of winter. But we braved it when sun was shining and wind abated. Many thanks to Jim, who manages the property. He was amazing meeting us after 11pm; showing us around the villa and explaining all about the best of the island. Overall a beautiful ‘home from home’ - we will most definitely be back!
