Positive: Prime location to the University of Virginia. Across the street from Starbucks. The facility was clean and well maintained, staff was friendly.

Negative: My room smelled like smoke despite being a non-smoking room. The complimentary breakfast items did not seem fresh.

Positive: Excellent and professional staff. Clean. The breakfast was better than expected .

Negative: Noise. Too late now, but the facility could have been built with quality insulation and better windows. As for the interior: every shower or flushed toilet above me sounded like a waterfall in our bathroom. We were unfortunately housed above the breakfast area which meant we got to enjoy the bass of rock and roll when food was served at 6 am. BTW, who needs rock and roll for breakfast? Soft jazz, classical, new age all are better options.

Summary: A great staff cannot overcome construction shortcuts so I won’t be back.

Positive: Staff was very nice and friendly. Room was very clean.

Negative: Parking. We got back late from a concert and had to drive around the very small and tight parking lot for 20 minutes waiting for a spot. Thank goodness one opened up.
