Summary: The house and garden exceeded all our expectations. We loved the photos and description in the listing, which is why we chose it, but the reality was so much better. On arrival, Guglielmo and Luca met us to show us around the house and garden and give us important information. Several times during the holiday, they checked in on us by message, and offered recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. They were the perfect hosts. The highlights: the pool is really big and has shallow end and deep end so great for swimming as well as keeping cool. Has great lights too for nightime swimming. The deck and sunbeds have umbrellas for shade and there are places to sit in various parts in the garden - great for morning coffee or aperatifs. The house is homely and very well equipped with all you could possibly need. The undercover patio area is quirky and beautifully decorated with agricultural artefacts a perfect place to sit, eat and relax. The location is ideal - the house is in a tiny hamlet so really peaceful and private but only 5 mins away from San Vito Chietino and within easy driving distance of beautiful beaches on the Costa dei Trabocchi, pretty Italian towns with great history and architecture, the mountains of the Majella National Park and even the Abruzzo Zoo. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Summary: We stayed at the house for 3 weeks and it was amazing. The rooms were nice and tidy, bathrooms perfect. Kitchen was very well equipped, it had everything! The large swimming pool was a welcome addition to our stay. Also the village nearby (San Vito Chietino) was very cosy. We will certainly come back and visit your beautiful house! Thanks for the hospitality!

Summary: Once again, it has been an amazing vacation at this lovely place. The House is clean, a great big pool and a lovely Garden. Guglielmo and Luca are always helpfull and easy to get in touch with. We highly recommend this place.

Summary: We stayed in this home for a period of 1 week in earlier June. The owner was accommodating in being flexible with a check-in time that we provided. As well as meeting us there with his bilingual son. The outside space of the patio area was wonderful. The inside is compact and functional. Kitchen very well supplied. The main stove was broken, and we were asked to not use it. The pool is beautiful and fabulous. Enjoyed it a lot! The wood pool deck is unsafe though, lots of rotten wood. You can fall through this, or the steps to the pool from house. There is a separate upstairs, but was not used because of the heat. So why the lower rating.? The owner when we first booked sent me a personal friend request on Facebook, which is not the most professional. We value our privacy. I was also asked to purchase, for his son, a Hard Rock Cafe T-Shirt. We found it a really unusual unprofessional request for a host. The weather when we arrived was extremely hot. Abruzzo/Italy is dealing with a bad heat wave/drought. He was aware of this. The home when we arrived was boiling hot. The entire time we stayed it never cooled down. We opened the windows at night & shut them, with their shutters, in the morning. It didn't help. The bedrooms have ceiling fans. But regardless of these, the house was hot and incredibly stuffy. Common room had no airflow as well. We realize the host can not control the weather. But we asked 4 separate times for a fan(s) to be provided. The first two times we received a bunch of shrugging shoulders emoji's with a general lack of care for our well being. Third time asked in person and he refused. The fourth was another text message where I was begging him for one. He finally brought one on the fourth of fifth day. Asking for a fan isn't a big deal. There wasn't any care for his guests. Several window screens had holes in them, one in a bedroom, the kitchen door, the kitchen window, and bathroom. If you had the lights tons of biting bugs got in. We had numerous welts on legs, backs, arms. The neighbors cats kept dumping the garbage over. When we mentioned it he shrugged. The landscape is very overgrown, needs to be trimmed for better airflow around windows. Would help the bug issue as well. We felt like legitimate concerns were not taken into consideration. I did not mention the screens because we were so put off by then. The host asked me to respond privately with concerns off the platform. We unfortunately can not recommend this home.

Summary: Absolutely loved our stay in this charming country house in San Vito Chietino. Nice garden, very practical & well equipped house, great pool, quiet neighbourhood, helpful host - all 10/10. Trabocchi coast is beautiful, Abruzzo food is wonderful everywhere you go. Wouldn't hesitate to go back !

Summary: I will keep this review rather simple. All previous reviews are correct great place, location, outside area, pool and the very nice owners. What I would like to add that hasn’t really been mentioned is the inside of the property. It is very nice, spacious and well kept. Would highly recommend.

Summary: We, a family of four had a great stay here. The house is great and the garden fabulous. The landlord and his helpful son made us feel very welcome. Pool was a big hit for us all. We all would love to visit Abruzzo again.

Summary: This property is everything a person would want from a stay in the vicinity of the Trabocchi Coast. Guillemo is wonderful and responded always with a smile and was an excellent host. The house is well equipped and extremely comfortable. The grounds are fabulous. Pool is gorgeous and the area extending from the living room of the house had sofas, tables and comfortable chairs. We will definitely come back to this property again. All of the doors and windows are screened. The kitchen is fantastic. We had a wonderful experience here.

Summary: We have been coming to Italy for years and this is easily the best place we have stayed. Large, spotless and with every possible amenity it is an ideal family holiday base. It is 10 minutes from the sea, if you can drag yourself away from the huge pool and lovely surroundings, and 15minutes from the large town of Lanciano. Guglielmo and Luca were very welcoming. We will certainly be recommending this property to friends and family.
