Positive: The best thing about this property was its location. The front of the building is lovely art deco but the back of the building looked awful. The apartment was spacious. The kitchen appeared well equipped.

Negative: The property looks tired and the furniture needs upgrading. The double bed was old and uncomfortable and didn’t inspire confidence of full cleanliness. There was no bath mat , hand towels , dish cloth or tea towels , bin bags, so we bought our own. The twin beds were comfortable. This apartment could be so much more inviting if it had a little more TLC and the double bed replaced, as it really is in a great location. We did have someone knock the day before we went home who brought some towels but she didn’t know we were staying four nights. She did give us clean towels and a cotton bath mat. Both shower trays were very slippy and anti slip mats should be supplied . We had to pull the couch out to retrieve something that had been dropped and it was full of bits , didn’t look like it had been moved for years .one of the top kitchen cupboards was full of black fluff so we didn’t use it , some of the cutlery was dirty so we had to put it all in the dishwasher. We decided not to do any cooking in that kitchen . The front door lock needs replacing as looks like was previously forced open .

Positive: Fantastic location, very clean with a very short walk to the beach, pubs and shops, around a 15-20 minute walk along the beach you come to the promenade with lots of gift shops and great fish and chips shops. Boat trips are also available, pirate ship is a great 10 minutes leisurely trip on the sea for a great price of £3 or a super fast spreed boat trip that lasts around 6 -10 minutes for £6, both are well worth the money. There are also lots of other amenities, Iceland, shoe zone, Greggs and lots more. Quirky little lift takes you up to the 1st floor where the property is located it's a very good size with a lovely balcony looking out to the sea. Clean with comfortable beds and fantastic views. On a hole it's a lovely apartment, nice clean carpets and decorated well. Tea/ coffee and suger was available. Fantastic looking kitchen.

Negative: This property could be fantastic but it's let down by the lack of attention to detail. The entrance to the property is very outdated and dirty and smells. there was rubbish on the landing and carpet needed vacuuming. ( This was done just before we left) Parking is around the back of the apartment where the bins and skips are. Not very pleasant. None of the TV's have scary lead attachments so you can watch the dvd player provided, also doesn't have a WiFi connection so cannot stream netflix or other streaming services. Only one pan was available so cooking breakfast is ridiculous, one tea towel and no other cleaning products available apart from washing up liquid. No vacuum, mop or a broom( thankfully we didn't spill anything) windows could do with a clean. Master bedroom windows don't shut properly have massive gaps, it was lovely and warm when we went so didn't bother us but wouldn't be nice in the winter. The place was clean and tidy but areas was missed, the lamps, cup holder those kind of areas. Unfortunately on our last night the front door lock broke so couldn't lock the door.
