3 Bedroom Cottage in Worlington, Tiverton

The views are beautiful and guests are welcome to explore the gardens which include streams and woodland. Younger guests will enjoy the trail to our forest camp and are welcome to make a campfire on the site as long as they put it out afterwards. Guests will be able to completely relax and enjoy the peaceful Devon countryside. There are two other houses on the property but the cottage garden is completely private and all the bedrooms enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding hills. Please note that the garden is not secured for dogs. Though the cottage is clean and functional, we are planning some interior and exterior work as it is scruffy in places and there are plumbing quirks such as the washing machine exit pipe is fixed to downstairs sink as couldn’t be plumbed in! But it all works! There are some areas of the garden close to the other houses that are private but this will be clearly marked and/or explained to you but for the most part you are welcome to wander at your leisure. Please note that most mobile networks have patchy signal here but we have fast wifi available in all areas of the cottage.

Summary: The property was very rural but lovely for peace and quiet and long country walks. The beds were super comfortable and there was everything there we needed. We liked it as it was very family friendly. Lovely playroom for smaller kids!

Summary: Very disappointed with the properties cleanliness and there were hazards e.g. Electric cables across rooms under carpets one at top of stairs from bedroom to bathroom.!! One in hallway and one on sitting room. Washing machine in downstairs toilet, pipe had to be put in sink if this was missed then electrics on floor just unacceptable especially with children there. Unsafe light fittings on wall by dining table!! Are these properties checked before being rented by your company? This is the only break we have managed this year with the situation, very disappointed

Summary: This place was a perfect space for our party of 3 adults, 2 children and a well behaved dog. The views are breathtaking and can be seen from 2 of the bedroom windows. It is very off the beaten track which was perfect for my Mum who wanted a quiet break but meant we travelled a little further each day with the children but we knew that on booking. Francesca and family were very welcoming and we were blown away by the number of extra touches. A very well stocked kitchen of utensils and basics, including a BBQ and everything we needed to light on arrival. Even plenty of cleaning products for washing up, the washing machine and around the house. It was lovely to have hand sanitiser and wipes provided too. There were board games and a variety of DVDs too. I only wish we picked up milk and bread on the way to save heading back out as the shops are not on the doorstep. On recommendation by Francesca we booked The Bear Trail and it was amazing so if you have children it’s worth a look. Overall we had a lovely break and it was perfect to not be stuck with a 7 day minimum. Thank you

Summary: We had a wonderful weekend stay in this cottage. It has amazing views of the surrounding countryside and the private woodland is great for walking and exploring. The cottage has a private garden which backs on to the land so there is plenty of space to enjoy the outside which was ideal for our dogs. There were helpful basic items in the kitchen which was well equipped with cooking utensils. There is a fantastic BBQ and we were provided with logs to enjoy a fire pit in the garden in the evening. The cottage was very homely and clean. Plenty to do in the surrounding area as well and Fran and her family were great hosts, recommending some great spots to visit. We’ll certainly be going back and would recommend a stay here to anyone.

Summary: Hi Great property and suited us perfectly. Well equipped including basics such as cooking oils, soaps, kitchen roll, teabags etc. The extras included BBQ coals which is a nice touch. Welcome gifts also on arrival. If you are looking for a high class, well maintained “expensive” property with plenty of nightlife near by, then this may not be for you. If you are looking for a comfortable well equipped and good sized property which welcomes children and dogs alike and has spectacular views across fields then you would enjoy your stay here.
