Positive: Lovely little cottage. Our second time of booking and suits our needs perfectly. Great and accessible location but situated in a quiet residential lane. Clean and had everything we need. And an excellent, friendly and responsive host. Beats a soulless hotel room every day of the week! Thank you.

Positive: Good location. Quiet. I liked that it had a woodburner.

Negative: Sofa was terribly uncomfortable. Bed in front bedroom likewise, we both rolled into the middle and had to sleep in separate beds. Kitchen had things like wine glasses and yet no corkscrew. We had to wash glasses and plates etc prior to use. You can hear the neighbours through the wall. We left a day early and told the property manager, but they didn't even reply. I think the rest of the reviews are from friends of the property owner or staff at the agency.

Positive: The house was cosy and homely and had everything I needed for my stay. The location was good as the house is tucked away on a quiet street with easy access to Wakefield, motorways and surrounding areas. Although there was parking available directly outside the property the street is very narrow so it was recommended that I parked further up the road.

Negative: I would have preferred to have been able to park directly outside the house - just for ease and safety when returning home late at night or with shopping etc.

Summary: I would definitely stay again as the house is lovely and it is in a perfect location.

Negative: No sharp knives settee really uncomfortable car parking poor neighbouring property caused concern creepy comments in guest book towels clean but bath sheets would have been better

The house is immaculate, feels like a home away from home, with beautiful decor, and comfortable beds you don't want to leave. There's a beautiful 2-minute walk along a canal, which can lead to a pub. We would definitely recommend it and would rebook if we're in the area."
