Positive: The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The accommodation was spotless. The situation was amazing, peaceful and even the cows came over to say hi. We were given an idea on a morning walk from the hosts which included a gorgeous medieval church with commemorative war graves. They gave us advice on a reliable taxi service for the wedding venue we attended whilst there. Nothing was too much trouble. Cups were washed and replaced loo rolls were topped up and flowers were refreshed. Absolutely perfect. Homemade cake and all cooking was superb too.

Negative: I can’t think of anything negative about the place.

Positive: I had such a lovely stay in this beautiful B&B. The hosts Martyn and Marina are warm and welcoming and truly want to ensure you have a great stay. I was treated to tea and cake on arrival and also given an upgrade to the beautiful green room. The property and gardens are stunning, and the location is quiet and peaceful. I slept very well. The breakfast was lovely too and offered a wide range of fresh and homemade products. If I’m back in the area I would definitely stay again.

Positive: We had the best possible stay whilst attending a horse show in Chard, Martyn & Marina were exceptional hosts and made us welcome from the moment we arrived. They went the extra mile in so many ways and I cannot wait to visit again!

Positive: The hosts were so welcoming and very accommodating. Martin and Marina could not do enough for us. They tended to every need. Breakfast was lovely they had everything you needed and were happy to offer more of anything if so requested. Their garden is beautiful and the location is very peaceful and quiet. Rooms and bathroom were very comfortable and had everything that you needed. The bed was very comfy, and a fan was provided as it was a very hot evening. We had a very good sleep.
