Positive: It is high in the mountains overlooking the coast and has been a great place to stay in the past The lady running the place is very nice but speaks no English. So trying to understand what was available on the menu and costs were very hard to work out.

Negative: We have stayed here several times before and had a relaxing stay for the price. However the cost this year increased greatly so the facilities for the cost were poor. The grounds are becoming forlorn and there were no other guests staying There was only one other couple dining, so the good atmosphere was not there either. We would no longer return if the price stays at the present rates.

Summary: Has been great in the past but has gone downhill slightly and costs gone up exponentially

Positive: The place is wonderfull and very calm. The view through the windows is spectacular, who likes hiking (especially through the caves) - there are plenty of routes around :)

Negative: Personnel was not too attentive, it felt that it is because we don't speak spanish and personnel did not speak english, so there was a bit of a barrier.

Positive: Loved the view, the amount of pillows, the fan, very spacious, the dogs, location, friendly staff.

Negative: our shower head was broken, we had an ant issue one day but was immediately fixed by the nice staff

Positive: The location was easy to fin. Parking was available and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The bed was comfortable, the shower tiny but functional. Sadly no tea/coffee-making facilities. The view from the balcony was amazing and hiking was plentiful.

Negative: The room was very small (I was traveling with my two dogs) and situated above the restaurant so VERY loud.
