Positive: Cottage was spotless and well set up for a short stay. Location was surrounded by gorgeous trees & a short drive from the cbd.

Positive: The house was very clean. There was plenty of coffee and tea. The laundry looked well equipped but we didn't use it.

Negative: Firstly the house was freezing when we arrived mid afternoon. Heating was via a small oil heater and 2 small air heaters which of course were slow to heat the rooms. With Mildura's cold winters, a more effective heating system is needed. A wall heater was not functional. We needed two keys as there were 3 of us and we were out and about at different times. The hostess came around but was unable to provide a second set of keys. The security door latch did not engage and so could not be locked. The car port door remote did not work which entailed a call to the hostess as we wanted to park our cars undercover for security and also to prevent ice on our windscreen on the frosty mornings. We were told there was a problem and therefore we had to lift a heavy double steel door manually. The extra blanket in the second room was soiled and should not have been missed by the cleaner. We only discovered this late at night on retiring.

Summary: Despite the cleanliness, it was not up to our expectations.

Negative: The remote opening device not operating, had to open the garage door in the rain. The garage floor has not been swept & cleaned for months

Summary: Stay was comfortable. Our check-in was at 3:00 but the cottage had not been cleaned

Negative: Same as other reports. Garage/Carport door not working preventing being able to park the car under the carport. Heating was via a small oil heater and 2 small air heaters slow to heat the rooms. Air con is only cold not heating. Front door lock is tight to lock. Screen door doesn’t lock. Paint peeling off in the bathroom wall. No gas for the BBQ. Fridge wasn’t working when we arrived. Found circuit breaker tripped.

Summary: Wouldn’t stay again.

Positive: Cute cottage, close to Town Centre. Very clean.

Negative: Heater in lounge didn’t work and the 2 x tiny oil heaters that they had in its place just did nothing to warm the house on a freezing cold night and morning in Winter. After contacting the owners they did drop off a bigger oil heater but it just didn’t heat enough and made it hard to enjoy the property when we were so cold all the time.

Summary: Nice house, but they need to address the lack of decent heating.
