Positive: This is a beautiful hotel, set in a historic abbey. The scenary is amazing, interior reflects it's past. It was my daughter's wedding and helped with a perfect day.

Negative: Parking is expensive. Staff really need some training around hosting wedding guests.

Positive: This is a stunning hotel from the moment you arrive. Set in a country park with a river running down through. Staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our room was amazing 140. At the front of the hotel lots of light, a hidden bathroom (behind a bookcase - very Harry Potter) and one of the most comfortable beds. Great breakfast in the garden room.

Negative: Only downside on the whole hotel was bar access. It was a beautiful day and we sat out back but to get to the bar you had to walk through the hotel even though you could see the bar from the outside seating area. It would be good for a hatch or something, but got more steps in.
