Positive: Peaceful, remote setting. We loved the pub across the bridge from the B and B where we went for dinner. Breakfast was delicious and Maura and her husband were very welcoming.

Negative: Bathrooms are a little small but we knew that before booking. Everything was great.

Summary: It’s not a trip to Ireland unless you stay in a welcoming bed and breakfast in the Irish countryside like Coolalingo!

Positive: It was lovely and warm (great after a cold wet December hike). Lots of hot water for a good shower. Nice thick towels and very comfortable bed. Across the road from the Glenmalure Lodge, an atmospheric pub and restaurant. Helpful and relaxed hostess.

Negative: The room was a bit small but this was a minor point.

Positive: Great spot with a hotel across the road which served a great dinner. Accommodation was good, bathroom tiny but adequate. They carried our suitcases upstairs which was a bonus. Breakfast was good.
