Positive: Amazing overwater bungalow. The one we had was with a pool and amazing uninterrupted view on the ocean. Easy access to corals and easy snorkeling spots. The property is calm and simple, not huge overwhelming resort. Luxurious but focusing on the amazing natural scenery and the lagoon. After a jetski tour around the whole island, I think that The Conrad is top option.

Negative: You need to be able to afford it. This is an expensive trip… but it’s still worth it….

Our overwater bungalow with a private pool was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking lagoon views. Every detail — from the magical canoe breakfast to the private deck for sunset views — was flawless. The resort grounds were immaculate, with crystal-clear waters perfect for snorkeling and swimming. Dining was outstanding, with diverse options and consistently exceptional quality. Most of all, the staff went above and beyond to make every moment special, always greeting us with genuine smiles and personalized service. The Conrad Bora Bora is not just a resort — it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that sets the standard for five-star luxury.

Negative: Due to its location, the property is a bit far from the main island, making outside dining and exploring less convenient. In spite of this, the issues are minor in comparison with the overall experience. I still consider the Conrad Bora Bora to be one of the best resorts I've ever stayed in.

Positive: Great overwater Villa with wonderful scenery. We could get around easily on our bikes. Staff was very courteous and professional. Restaurants were very good.

Negative: I would have liked for the regular water shuttle to Bora Bora to be more on demand rather than two time per day transfer.

Negative: Food was mediocre and overpriced. Water prices were inconsistent between restaurants. It would be complimentary at one, $10 at another. Landscaping woke us up early morning on Tuesday. And mattress had a dip in one area that caused back pain.

Positive: Breakfast was excellent and the Tahitian dance show was very good. The staff was very friendly, and I think it rubbed off on the customers too. We made several new friends.

Negative: When I booked, I thought I was getting an over the water villa, due to a picture that showed an over the water villa. but when checking in I was informed I had a lagoon view. I feel it was a little misleading. Upon leaving I was told I would get an emailed receipt of all the charges it is now 2 days later, and I still don't have an emailed receipt.

Summary: All in all, it was a great experience!
