2 Bedroom Apartment in Onemana, Onemana Beach

Perfect location for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The unit is on the second story with great views of the beach and park. There is a dairy and cafe right across the road and the beach is only minutes away.
Onemana beach is patrolled during the summer holiday period and is a safe swimming beach. There is good surfing in the right conditions but most of the time it is pretty calm and better suited for kayaking, SUP and snorkelling. There are plenty of walking trails around including a great hike to secluded beaches that can be accessed directly from the unit. Whanagamata is about a 10min drive and about 10min in the other direction is Opoutere, both of which have a boat ramp (although Opoutere is tidal and not suitable for larger boats).
We have been coming here for years and highly recommend it!
The available cot is a camp cot which is folded away in the cupboard.
The unit is fully equipped for self-catering, and certain basics are provided for the first few days. After that, guests need to replenish their own supplies.

Summary: Just loved it! It's not often that places are better than you expect from the photos, but this is one of them. A small space but it's well laid out and the corner site is great. The location is fantastic, and Onemana is so wonderfully relaxing. Whangamata is just a short drive away if you fancy a bit more, so nice to come back to the peace and quiet of Onemana. We all had a great time - me, my teenage son and his friend - exploring, swimming, fishing, a bit of surfing and lots of chilling. Monika is a fantastic host! So helpful, friendly and accommodating. We will be back for sure!

Summary: The Bach is very spacious, clean and comfortable with very good amenities. We loved the Onemana community and it is very conveniently located for visiting the Whangamata area. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating and we wished we could have stayed longer.

Summary: Very quiet clean modernised apartment by the beach. Had everything we could possibly need and sea views! Monika and Neville are fantastic hosts. Photos on book a Bach were out of date - now 2 very comfy new beds in the 2nd bedroom in place of the bunks.
