Summary: Everything was perfect for the price, except the mattress in the bed was pretty awful. The middle was concave causing one to roll into the middle. Sounds funny, but not when you are coping with it all night, it is unpleasant. Most importantly, it was sparkling clean and quiet. I value that a great deal.

Summary: We checked in pretty late and the receptionist was great, welcomed us and even helped us get into our room as i somehow forgot how to use the key lol. We had breakfast every morning, but i have to say the lady working the breakfast area has to be the rudest unwelcomed morning person to greet and help guests first thing in the morning. If you're not a morning person then you shouldn't be in a position that requires you to be up and help patrons in the "morning". One morning my wife and got our breakfast while there wasn't anyone there yet...i used the waffle irons to heat and toast the French toast vs the toaster, not a big deal, and since no one was there for 2 minutes i used both to quickly to the job, but only to be scolded like one of her kids telling me that's not what they're used for and I need to use the toaster and I'm taking up the irons for other people to use.... mind you we were the only ones there getting breakfast??!!! She caught me off guard by that and i replied, well it's a good thing no one else is here and I kinda like them this way. We also witnessed while we were sitting down finishing our breakfast on another morning, several patrons had all filled the breakfast area getting their items, but instead of allowing the customers to grab their own milk etc she decided it was the best time to restock an already full refrigerator of those items at the same time, giving those customers the rude look as if they're in her way. No professionalism!

Summary: I always have a great time at comfort suites. We’re local and my kids and I went for a “staycation”. Baseboards need a little TLC. Otherwise it was nice ! Nice selection for breakfast as well.

Summary: I have stayed at this particular hotel before and welcomed this trip just as kind as i was in the past. Ms. Amy is the best front desk woman I have EVER met! She greets everyone with the biggest smile and speaks to you when you walk out and when you come back in. Such a refreshing human being that I personally appreciate tremendously.

Summary: This hotel was excellent. Very clean, close to 64 and plenty of food, drugstore and shopping options within minutes. We felt safe and secure during our stay as well. The highlight was our check-in and the above and beyond attitude from the front desk employee. She was such a warm welcome and continued to be, everytime we walked in and out of the hotel. We will continue to stay here from now on when visiting our child at CNU.

Summary: This is one of the few hotels in the Newport News area that i will stay with! I feel very safe here. Very clean. Great customer service. I visit the area frequently to see family.
