Positive: We were in the area for our kid to take the ACT college entrance test early the next morning, and our request to be in a room in a quieter location was accommodated. We were on the back side of the hotel facing a quiet street with a nice view of trees out our window, rather than the busy road at the front. The beds were very comfortable, and there was a night light in the bathroom. The pleasant and well-stocked breakfast room was open about 10 minutes earlier than the posted time, which was nice, because we had limited time for our kid to eat a big breakfast and get to the test center.

Negative: In a perfect world, the latches and doors on hotel rooms would be designed to be as quiet as possible. It wasn't a big problem and probably wouldn't be noticed by many people, but there were some tenants on our floor coming and going after we went to bed, and every time they closed their room doors, they made a loud slamming noise. The noise from the fan on our A/C unit helped soften the shock from the slams, but if there were a way to reduce the sudden crashes of closing doors, it would be appreciated by those of us who are more sensitive to sound.

Summary: Clean hotel, easy to find, near several restaurants. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Negative: Breakfast was a carbs dream, nothing healthy. Even the coffee was awful. Pool had no towels, The room had old fashioned air conditioning, the room and hallway smelled like feet, lastly way overpriced.

Positive: I loved the convenience of the location most. We were right across from a Walmart for any last minute needs, next to Goodwill & diagonal from Bisquitville which was delish. Excellent water pressure in bathroom, abundance of linens.

Negative: There really wasn't anything I wasn't a fan of. All of my needs were met.

Positive: I liked the room a lot, it was spacious and clean.

Negative: It was off a busy road so it was a busy and noisy for me and the price per night was higher than i would usually pay for this type of stay but it definitely had a safe feel.
