Summary: Breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly. The hotel was also very close to Downtown Hartford. The rooms needed updating. The desk chair was peeling and the rooms needed fresh paint and new carpet. The room was damp, so the carpet was damp and needed to be cleaned.

Summary: We did not stay here. Rooms are stated as smoke free but when we entered the assigned room it smelled of nicotine. We were assigned another room and noticed the mattress had a huge dark stain on it. Also, the there was an unpleasant air freshener smell throughout the hotel. We went back to the desk and requested a refund.

Summary: The lady at the front desk was very friendly. She was the most positive part about my stay. The bed was very worn and sunk in. I was ok with it, I found it to be comfortable, but you could tell it was old and some people may find that awkward. The photo may not show the dip in the bed that well. My biggest concerns were that the doors in each room slam REALLY hard and it’s loud. Doors slam every 5 minutes and it makes it difficult to sleep. The housekeeping yell to each other in the AM and that’s also difficult to sleep through. There’s signs everywhere that says no smoking but the place smells of marijuana and locals come there to party. I found a couple spots of blood on bathroom door and the curtain which I didn’t find until you was about to check out otherwise I would’ve asked for a different room. Cleanliness in the rooms could’ve been better. The hotel was a great location, only like 6 minutes from the convention center. Overall not a bad stay but I don’t know if I’d be back due to the cleanliness and the noises from the doors.
