Positive: This was the perfect place to stay if you need to be near Keflavik airport. It is a clean, modern apartment within 10-15 mins drive from the airport and our lovely host met us in person to hand over the keys. The apartment is part of a house in a very quiet, family oriented, residential neighbourhood. Our host showed us around and also got the hot tub ready when we arrived. There is a private parking spot for your car and there are supermarkets and shops within 10 mins drive.
Negative: There weren't many shops in the neighbourhood so you'll need to drive, rather than walk if you need to buy groceries. We knew this beforehand, so it wasn't a problem or us. Just letting others know so that they can plan ahead.
Summary: Perfect apartment 15 mins from the airport
