Positive: Wonderful host even made me wonderful vegetarian meals!! The staff all went out of their way to make us happy.

Negative: It was very hot in the rooms however we were in the middle of a heatwave so not the hotels fault.

Positive: Spotlessly clean and very dog friendly. Bedroom furniture and bathroom fittings were basic but functional and comfortable. Restaurant food was very good. Location is good for access to the town and whilst there is no on site car parking there is free parking right behind the hotel. Would be happy to return.

Negative: Bedroom furniture made of basic unfinished cheap timber

Positive: The bed was large and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and polite. The breakfast was good. Good views over the street.

Negative: We found the stairs difficult as we had an upstairs room and there was an awkward step into the shower. (Most.people would cope with both of these issues of course but we have mobility issues) It would have been nice to have sockets and light switch on both sides of the bed as there was only one place in the room to plug things in. My husband found it too noisy with the traffic outside.
