The large window panel provides the accommodation with a nice spacious feeling. It gives you access to the terraces and the south oriented garden. On both terraces (above and below) and around the swimming heated pool there are contemporary design garden furniture at your disposal. There, you can enjoy in all serenity and have a nice conversation in the evening around the barbeque or play petanque.
The accommodation also disposes of a large living room with an open fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and 4 bedrooms of which 2 of them have a direct access to the bathroom. The children’s room contains a bunk bed, a one person’s bed and a cot (25 €). If you hire for 6 , you have 1 room less but you get the base price.
The swimming pool is closed from novembre till Easter.
For the little ones we can inform you that all the stairs have been provided with safeguards. A high-chair, a go-cart, some steps and games are also present in the place.
The closest high-speed train connection is Angoulème, with a connection to Cognac (40 min).
By car the accommodation is accessible by the A10.

Summary: The balcony off the kitchen was a lovely place to eat breakfast and other meals. We appreciated the beautiful scented blossom off the tree by the pool that perfumed the lounge area. Plenty of seating area in both sun and shade around the pool. Lots of space and bright sunny rooms which could be kept cool using the shutters. The chateau at La Rochefoucauld was worth a visit and we had a good meal at Au Moulin du Chateau there.

Summary: I only have great things to say about this vila. Is absolutely what you need , very clean , everything in place, very organised. Location very nice, quiet and relaxing. Definitely we will come back

Summary: Beautiful home ,very peaceful location. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We totally enjoyed our relaxing 3weeks here. The only point I would highlight ,I have never required to take my own towels to any rental property. We travelled from Scotland by car ,therefore were able to load up car but if we had flown this may have been a problem. (Weight of luggage) If you are looking for a totally relaxing ,peaceful ,holiday ,which we were , then I would highly recommend.
