Positive: The location and view from the property were outstanding and without parallel. Although one had to walk up 500 steps it was an enchanting experience to stay at the top of the mountain near the Path of the Gods. The room and view were fabulous. As was the breakfast which used home grown veggies and fruits and fresh eggs and local meats. Fabulous.

Positive: It might be a bit of a climb to this property but it is totally worth it. After arriving on the ferry to Positano and making our way through the crowds, we made our way up to Marco & Paisia’s place and couldn’t believe our eyes when we arrived. Sitting almost as high as you can get, the property looks down on Positano town - the most beautiful place we have ever stayed and with the best view. As you can imagine, Positano is very crowded, so it’s so nice to be here away from the crowds and enjoy Positano from a distance. The room was so stylish and clean, it really feels like you are in a 5* hotel. Marco & Paisia are best hosts - they gave us great recommendations and make the most incredible breakfast - really such lovely people. There are so many special touches which didn’t go unnoticed and we are so grateful that they made our time there so special. We wish we would have been there for longer!

Summary: This place made our time in Positano. It just wouldn’t have been the same if we stayed anywhere else!

Positive: "At first, I thought it was crazy, but I fell in love with the place after seeing the pictures on Booking. I said to myself, 'I want to go there.' So, that's what I did. I chose Colle dell'Ara as my romantic spot to celebrate my 30th wedding anniversary. I reached out to Marco for advice on exploring the Amalfi Coast, and his suggestions were spot on. Marco and Paisa are fantastic hosts. Marco went above and beyond to help us, especially with our arrival. He picked us up at Chiesa Nuova and drove us home. What really amazed me was when Marco carried my backpack and two 13-kilo carry-on bags all by himself - I couldn't believe his strength! We enjoyed three delicious breakfasts and even better conversations. He told me I resembled Pope Francis! Marco welcomed my wife and me in an unforgettable way. He mentioned having an Argentine friend, and I jokingly said he now has two. Thanks, Marco, for an incredible experience!"

Positive: The customer service was outstanding – the owners couldn’t do enough to help and really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everything was spotless, and the facilities were excellent, with everything we needed.

Negative: The views from the property are absolutely stunning. It’s worth noting, however, that there are quite a few steps to reach the accommodation. This is very common in Positano and part of the charm of the town, but something to keep in mind (you will get this with any accomodation in Positano)! Overall, the scenery more than make up for it!

Positive: Absolutely the best place in Positano! From the very first moment we arrived, it felt like home — cozy, authentic, and full of warmth. Marco and Paisia create a truly special atmosphere, and their two adorable huskies make it even more unforgettable. Yes, the hotel is on the hillside, but the steps are easy and the views along the way are magical. Breakfasts are generous and delicious, rooms are spacious and comfortable. We stayed in three hotels during our trip, and this one was simply the best. I can’t wait to come back!

Positive: Marco, his partner & two husky dogs were so accommodating, they made us feel so at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast they made for us in the morning was really good. I’d recommend staying in this home stay if you’d like an authentic experience with genuine lovely people.

Negative: The stairs and location was pretty tough but I suppose the views made it worth it.

Positive: Marco & Paisia are such lovely persons. We really felt comfortable at their house even though you have to take a few stairs up, we did not mind. :) Their breakfast is so delicious, they try to use everything from their own garden. The views are breathtaking and we really enjoyed the quietness up their as in the towns such as capri, positano and amalfi it gets really quiet. That‘s why we even more appreciated the calmness up there.

Positive: Everything was great starting from the view, amenities, wifi and the rest. But the best part are the hosts, their dogs, silent area, very stunning view on the Positano from the highest house in the area. Great chill location, where you can sit back relax and enjoy the stay.
