Negative: My friends felt that the 2 twin beds were not very comfortable, and it would have been good if there was oil provided in the kitchen so we didn't have to go buy some.

Positive: It was a comfortable, spacious house with a view of the beach & ocean. It is out of town & easy to get around the island. The owner left a lovely basket of goodies to welcome us.

Negative: A bit pricey for 4 nights for family of 2 adults (grandparents) and 2 kids under 7. But location was everything for us as our family around us.

Positive: Ahead of our stay, Angela was great at coming back to any questions we had - even a special request for Sunday newspapers - thank you 🙏The house is ideally situated in a lovely, quiet street but close to Stornoway for food shopping,eating out etc. Sitting in the living room, looking out to sea after a day exploring the stunning island is perfect. The house itself is beautifully decorated with all amenities needed. I have no hesitation in recommending Angela’s house - it really is a perfect base for a holiday in Lewis.
