Positive: Convenient Location. Beautiful views with a great layout. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed. Use of fireplace and other heating. A good sized place. Great outdoor facilities too.

Negative: It was not thoroughly cleaned. Bedding and bathroom etc was clean but living room, lounge, kitchen items (cutlery, oven dish, some plates, splash back and cabinet doors), were left dirty with traces of oil or food; window sills and skirting boards had thick layers of dust and dirt and the lounge room rug had sand and dust underneath it. The lounge cushions and underneath them had not been cleaned in what appeared to be years with peanut shells and food squished in between. We thoroughly cleaned it ourselves with our own portable vacuum (the vacuums provided did not work properly). This was disappointing for the price we paid.

Negative: Poorly designed kitchen, no wi fi, dangerous access upstairs, generally needs a makeover.

Summary: For the price of the rental we were expecting something of better quality however it was an enjoyable stay.
