Positive: Jimmy and Paco were very nice and helpful. The room was exactly what i needed, simple and had everything and even Jimmy brought be a minibar without any charge. Amazing. I definitely recommend and will go back there for sure !

Negative: Nothing. Every thing was perfect.

Summary: Overall a plasent stay and would defenitly go back some day.

Positive: The location is perfect! A short distance walk from the train station, right on the main road! Jimmy was the nicest person, so welcoming and kind, made sure we were settled in, had everything we needed and was happy to answer any question we had. The room was cozy, very clean and equipped with everything needed.

Positive: Super easy access from the station, shops, restaurants. It’s small but very clean.

Negative: I wish they could offer a chair…it was just a bed, nothin else. I did not have any place to sit.

Positive: The location is great and the staff was very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable.

Negative: The bed was against a wall so that one person had difficulty in getting up; a large person would not have been able to do so. Also, breakfast should be served earlier; we went elsewhere because we did not want to wait until 9.

Summary: good location; funky room, ask for one with room on both sides of bed.

Positive: Great location, right on Main Street in Cold Spring. Nice, very clean room with comfy bed, dresser, and chair plus, a modern sparkling clean bathroom. Cute cafe on ground floor of hotel. Our group had the delicious coffee and breakfast before we left.

Negative: The AC was not fully adjustable, so we couldn’t cool off the room as much as we would have liked. We had a special situation, two friends sharing a room, so I requested a rollaway bed, which wasn’t that comfortable.

Summary: Fun stay at Cold Spring Hotel and Cafe! Owner provided exceptional hospitality and service.

Positive: The location of the hotel is excellent: close to the Metro North train station, restaurants, shops, and the hiking trails. Jimmy, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating and an excellent host. The room was clean, and it was nice to have AC because the room got hot during the day.

Negative: I'm not sure if the walls are thin or if my neighbor just had a loud voice, but I could hear every word he was saying up until he went to sleep. The bathroom vanity was very small so it was a bit of a balancing act when I had my makeup case on it while getting ready in the a.m. I didn't want to put it on top of the toilet or floor instead.
