Positive: Fabulous place right above the water, but sheltered from the traffic to the water. Comfortable bed and room with large shower. Outside shared kitchen was perfectly supplied, fridge was appreciated, and terrace was lovely! Owner was responsive, helpful, and available. We stayed here to scuba, and it was 2” walking distance to the dive shops. We will be back!

Positive: The view of the ocean/sunset is the main attraction here but the room is comfy too. You have direct beach access. Owner is on top of things and it shows in the attention to detail. The outdoor shower was great.

Negative: Everything was top notch, if anything could be improved, maybe an additional shared bathroom and shower but it didn't cause me any concern during my stay.

Positive: Words cannot describe how amazing this stay was. Darcy and his family from the moment we arrived were extremely friendly, kind, thoughtful and helpful in every way imaginable. The view was nothing short of the BEST in the area. At all hours enjoy how different angles of the sun illuminate the beach (which is idyllically accessible by the garden), the waters in the bay and of Isla Santa Catalina. The facilities are perfect, with everything you could possibly need to self cater. Fresh grocers, shops and a vast variety of restaurants are extremely convenient and close by. In line with the amazing facilities, which were at the highest standard of comfort and cleanliness, Darcy and his family were also exceptional. We felt on all accounts that they were our friends looking after us, rather than hotel staff. Darcy organised our trip to Coiba island, kayak to Isla Santa Catalina and our onward shuttle which made it all so easy for us. The personal touch that Darcy and his family made to our stay was truly appreciated and we cannot wait to return to Coibahouse when we have the opportunity. For the price you will pay to stay here as well as the Michelins star service in every category, it is a no brainer to book to stay if you are so lucky that there is room available. We significantly extended our stay and did not want to leave! Thank you Darcy and family for everything, give Coco and Akiva a belly rub from us :)

Positive: Everything about our stay at Coibahouse was perfect. Darcy the host, is kind, helpful, and a general joy to get to know. He helped us organise a tour to Coiba, sorted our laundry and shared countless recommendations for local food spots. The room was clean, cool and comfortable. The facilities spotless and stylish. The view is out of this world. We could not recommend this place more - it was a truly peaceful and rejuvenating experience.

Positive: It's just a dream. We would go back any time. You can hear the sound of the ocean at night and enjoy the seaview during the day. We had a beautiful room with a private bathroom and a shared kitchen with refrigerator. Everything was very clean. There are only three rooms, so you have lots of privacy. The owner lives upstairs and is here for you any time. Thank you very much.
