Positive: My scoring of the property factors in value for the money, and what is typical in Panama, and other B&B's. Aside from the view out the back, there was nothing too opulent about this B&B. However, being in the secluded and relaxing environment in the Santa Fe mountains, pleasant views, modest but functional rooms, a decent breakfast, and a friendly staff, the B&B is an excellent value for the price.

Negative: The downsides I would say are, often times a B&B will have a common room for breakfast and other activities. They have an outdoor area for this, but not indoors. The rooms also lacked a desk, which made the outdoor breakfast table really the best option for using a computer.

Positive: Wonderful and well organised inn. Very nice room, good breakfast and dinner. Friendly owners who helped us with our car (tires lost air on the way). Lovely village and nice food in Cafe Dorado.

Negative: The road from Santiago to Santa Fe is under construction, expect a tiring trip.

Positive: Comfortable rooms with a super powerful shower. Lovely breakfast (with their own coffee - the best coffee I’ve had in Panamá) and perfectly simple suppers. The all day hike to the waterfall with Edgar was great and we learnt lots from Chaeli on a half day hike on our last day. Highly recommended - make space in your itinerary for a stay here.
