Positive: Our favourite stay in India! We loved this homestay. The rooms were lovely, clean and modern with authentic charm. The food was consistently great. We are there for breakfast and dinner every day. George is a fabulous host and organised everything we needed. In a charming street not far out from Kumily.

Negative: There is no pool to use unless you book the coffee suite.

Positive: Loved our stay here - the room was beautifuland immaculately clean. George was very accommodating and communicated clearly in advance, helping to get us trekking tickets. The food was delicious, we had dinner here as well as breakfast. The garden is very impressive, with every variety of fruit and spice growing. Its easy to get into town from the hotel.

Positive: Beautifully appointed, well designed and comfortable accommodation set in hills roughly 15 minutes by Tuk-tuk outside Kumily and the adjoining Periyar Tiger Reserve. We had a wonderful view from the 2 large windows in our room. Owners and staff all very friendly and helpful. For example purchasing tickets for 2 tours in the reserve before we arrived, arranging our onward transfer to Trivandrum at short notice. The tour of the garden with a wide range of plants by Mr Mathews was a highlight. We enjoyed the meals we had here, particularly the excellent breakfasts. No hesitation in recommending.

Positive: Beautiful location in the Forest- quiet but just a few mins by tuk tuk into town. Our room ‘Coffee’ was beautifully designed and finished and the private indoor pool was glorious after a hot day out in Periyar park. George was great super helpful and the home cooked food was tasty and an opportunity to experience more home style meals.
