Positive: It was really lovely to stay at D'Coco house right on the Tambopata river, surrounded by the beautiful jungle. The bird sounds throughout the day making it extra special and tranquil. The kitchen was well equipped and I was happy to make my own meals, apart from the delicious breakfast and fresh juice which was served to me in the comfort of my room. My hosts Wally and Ricardo were very friendly and considerate and were always available to answer any questions. They also organised a taxi for me from Puerto Maldonado and back when it was time for me to leave. The bungalows are quite a drive outside of the town, and so it was really good to experience the quietness on the beautiful river bank. I was one of the first guests to enjoy this lovely place, and I think with a few small adjustments this D'Cocos House will be a very popular place to stay. I wish Wally and his team all the best with the future of D'Cocos
