Positive: Location is great. Staff were lovely when they turned up. Manager was great as well as two key staff. But clearly they are not provided with the resources, money or responsibility to run a resort.

Negative: Not sure what’s happening with new owners but the staff there are not happy. The chef barely turns up even to cook an included breakfast. Bar rarely opened. Dinner rarely available and when it was only two dishes available out of 20 on menu. Rooms are basic and too crowded. No kayaks available. Housekeeping was rough at best. Not a resort, more just a room.

Summary: Great location but very poor facilities.

Positive: Was supposed to have continental breakfast included. No chef for 3 out of the 5 nights we stayed. Bar was not stocked till second last night there. Hot water was limited. Only wifi was at the bar area. Poor lighting so couldn’t even play up at the pool area at night. The staff were lovely. Just weren’t at all ‘guest ready.’ Lovely location.

Summary: Managegement should have been more prepared for guests.

Positive: Location was beautiful and sheltered, right on the beach. Gardens were well maintained. SUP boards and kayak were all handy free to use and snorkel gear and reef shoes.

Negative: Room was dated, some fly screens were missing at the back, bathroom could be improved. Swimming pool was at the property entrance, away from the beach and there were no restaurant or bar facilities near the pool. Menu could be improved.

Positive: Small but nice beach. Lunch can be served on a table on the beach, which is very romantic. Delicious food.

Negative: The bungalows are packed too tightly, so there is no privacy. Wi-Fi is not available in the far bungalows

Negative: The hot water system made its own decisions on a daily basis as to whether you really deserved it. Watersport equipment could do with updating. Limited choice of beverages. Could do with a refurbishment. Room features missing hand towels. No hairdryer. No full length mirror. No jug.

Positive: I had the most wonderful, warm stay at Coco Beach Resort. The best thing about the resort was the staff - Vanessa, Gina, Alice and Hiram made me feel like I was at my home away from home. I would go back in a heartbeat for them alone! I was there slightly off season and the entire stretch of beach was peaceful. I loved the fact that you could just walk straight into the ocean and snorkel or just float for hours, which I did much of the time!

Negative: The humidity was bad but once the air con was on it was fine.

Summary: A very relaxed stay able to switch off with no tv and the manager and staff were amazing. Very helpful and obliging .
