Summary: I was really impressed with the appearance of this hotel, the location right on the Platte River where many families were tubing, and the friendliness of the staff. Our room was spotless, new and modern, with plenty of towels, a comfortable king bed, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Also had DirecTV with all the channels. I only wish the window opened so that we could hear the river but that is a small issue.

Summary: Fine, basic hotel in the small town of Guernsey. Not quite as nice as a Hampton Inn but much nicer than a Motel 6. Fridge and microwave in room. Comfortable bed and clean. Only one chair (we had a room with two queen beds), so if two people, one sits on the bed. Not many restaurants around the small town, so we had a few snacks/ sandwiches in the room from the local grocery store. We had trouble with the TV but just used our iPads. Very kind and helpful staff; decent free breakfast choices - breakfast burritos on the day we stayed. Fine location if driving through viewing the Oregon Trail NPS sites.
