Negative: Everything was perfect . The only thing I would change would be a rug in the bedroom.

Positive: It was a lovely cottage with all of the traditional features of an old Irish cottage but with the comforts we expect such as central heating, en suite, etc The area is very peaceful out in the countryside with the town of Cookstown and Omagh near by. This is a lovely cottage which is very comfortable and has lovely decor. A Welcome Basket was full of delicious homemade items such as Soda Bread, Strawberry Jam and Butter. There was even fresh milk waiting in the fridge. The host (Margaret) thinks of everything and is very friendly and considerate. I would recommend this cottage for a short break of a few nights or a much longer stay. I definately will stay here again. Excellent.

Negative: There was nothing that I would change, everything I needed was there.

Summary: Beautiful traditional cottage with all mod-cons. Calm peaceful location 10 mins from Cookstown.

Positive: Great little cottage. The garden space out front was a godsend for us with a 3 year old and a dog. Host checked in on us daily and property was clean.

Negative: The family area kitchen/sitting was really small and dark. What you would expect of an old cottage like this so not a fault by any means just our preference it wasn’t a comfortable area. The trees around the house naturally attract a lot of flies which was really annoying but unavoidable. Quite remote location and we didn’t realise the travel required to activities, sights or town centres. Without good weather we would not have enjoyed our trip.

Summary: Lovely remote little cottage with good grounds to enjoy if the weather holds up.

Positive: Beautifully manicured cottage. Well presented. Quiet location and pet friendly.

Negative: Microwave in kitchen the interior is rusty. We were also told to check out before 11.30am. Although it does state in booking.com that checkout is between 11.30-12 mid day. That for me was very disappointing, particularly this was a short stay and long drive ahead! We have done numerous stays both at home and abroad both long and short stays and have never been told to check out before scheduled time! It will be a factor l would take into serious consideration in the future whether l would return to this cottage.!
