Positive: The location is outstanding, it feels remote and wild but is not far from facilities including a lovely cafe/gift shop by the lighthouse. There is much to explore on the "island" and the traditional seaside amenities are also close by in Weymouth. The coastline is stunning, the kids loved clambering on the rocks and we were thrilled to be able to watch seals in the coves. The accommodation is comfortable, very well equipped and maintained. The host was very welcoming and helpful.

Negative: I only encountered one problem but it was a biggie. The property is managed by Sykes Cottages who were entirely unhelpful and unresponsive to enquiries - to the point of causing a good deal of stress. Booking.com seemed equally unable to get a reply from them leaving me feeling helpless. Eventually I managed to track down contact details for the property owners myself online and they were able to reassure me and to provide all the information I needed.

Negative: Well if I was to choose something it would be a noisy extractor fan in bathroom but it didn't affect our stay at all
