Positive: The location is fantastic, right on the beach, with beautiful views of the sea, sand, and the lighthouse. The coastal watchtower has been nicely renovated and has a lot of character. The watchtower was very cold, but the host kindly provided wood for the fireplace, which we appreciated. The service via WhatsApp was friendly and responsive. We appreciated the small refund we received for these issues, but given all the inconveniences, and especially considering the price-performance ratio, we would not book this property again.

Negative: There are some significant drawbacks. The beach is publicly accessible, so pedestrians walk directly past the property, which affects privacy. The rental price is quite high, especially during the cold winter months, and we felt that the price-performance ratio did not match the overall experience. The amenities were limited. There was a coffee machine and coffee pots, but no coffee capsules or ground coffee were provided, which we found inadequate given the high price. Toilet paper was also very scarce. The shower setup was inconvenient as well: there was no shower curtain and no holder for the handheld shower, so we had to sit in the bathtub to shower. On the evening of our arrival, a storm brought strong wind and rain. Unfortunately, some windows in the kitchen and on the first floor were not properly sealed, and water leaked in so heavily that we had to place pots on the floor to catch it. The watchtower had a noticeable smell, possibly of fish or decaying material, and the beds and mattresses were uncomfortable and worn out.

Negative: Views from every window! Stylish interior and lots of terraces to enjoy the amazing position of the building

Summary: Spectacular. Great memories already - but we will be back for more. A longer stay is needed!

Positive: The location was excellent, remote but interesting

Negative: No door on toilet, bath squeezed in instead of shower. There was only the two of us, but it certainly couldn't accommodate five due to facilities. Only two very small fridges both with tiny freezer compartment, one without a door, neither defrosted. No spare kitchen cupboard to put your food.
