Positive: Excellent location, fabulous view, nice apartment. Excellent communication from host.

Negative: Would be good to have more info about parking (train station carpark card ma ch one for parking wasn’t working - need to buy ticket after 8am and can’t stay more than 24 hours). Disc parking appears to be max 3 hours so would be a faff for anyone staying more than 24 hours constantly moving the car.

Summary: Brilliant location would def book again.

Positive: Great views. Clean, comfortable property which was well equipped.

Negative: Noise from pub on ground level. Noise of people passing the property. Both of which continued until after 2am resulting in a poor night's sleep.

Positive: It was very cozy and super convenient to the ferry and the local bus service.

Negative: Just the stairs to get to the apartment. A necessary evil lol but the views from the apartment were outstanding.

Summary: One of the best experiences we had on our trip.

Positive: Good location if you want to visit pubs and eateries in Gourock

Negative: Once through the communal door the spiral staircase was difficult to navigate wearing heels and carrying bags and no handrail at a certain point. I expect an elderly person would struggle. The light in the main living room had no light bulb and the cutlery drawer was broken and it could have given way under the weight of the cutlery. I could not find any fire extinguishers despite the fact the flat was sitting on top of a pub.

Summary: Great location, host was very helpful and the fact was very clean.
