Positive: A beautiful, private stay with an amazing Sri Lankan breakfast We had a really, really nice stay at Cloud Wings Ella. It’s a beautiful standalone cabana that feels very private and peaceful, slightly away from the main part of Ella. The young guy who runs the place, who is only 21, is absolutely fantastic. He is very friendly, helpful and genuinely makes an effort to make your stay comfortable. The highlight for us was definitely the breakfast. You have to try the Sri Lankan breakfast it was amazing! His mother cooks it, and you can really taste the homemade, authentic Sri Lankan flavours. The property is about a kilometre or so away from Ella town. You can hear some of the road from the cabana, but it didn’t really bother us. The property also provides transport into Ella and can pick you up, which is really convenient, particularly if you’re travelling at a reasonable time. I’d especially recommend this place for couples and younger travellers looking for somewhere private and peaceful. Just be aware that getting to the cabana involves walking along a pathway that is still being developed, so it isn’t completely finished yet. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Great hospitality, excellent breakfast and a lovely private cabana. Definitely worth considering if you’re staying in Ella

Positive: The person who runs this place was very humble, kind, and welcoming. The view from the bed was beautiful and made our stay even more special 😍 ,and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of varieties. They also provide parking and tuk-tuk service. The path to the room was a unique experience, with a little adventure and a peaceful atmosphere. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warm hospitality, beautiful surrounding and excellent service . Highly recommended!
