Positive: The warm welcome. The unique bedroom with beams in the ceiling. The amazing 4 course dinner using regional recipies. The wide range of breakfast choices. The huge rural grounds with a large swimming pool, horses to visit, tiny ponies, and a play area for children. We truly recommend this hotel to all.

Positive: Le Clos de Bellevue is beautiful mansion set in huge grounds. Lovely swimming pool but sadly the weather prevented us from using it. Our room (Maximus) was huge as was the en-suite bathroom which was. Supplied with all toiletries. Bedlinen and towels were of high quality and our bed was very comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities with home made biscuits. We had gin and tonics on the terrace and an excellent three course meal with wine in the delightful dining room. Breakfast had a good selection of ham, cheese, yoghurt, cereal, fresh fruit, bread and croissants. Arnaud, with his sunny smile, was very welcoming. A short, but lovely stay. Sadly the weather did not allow for a walk around the grounds. However we did visit Arnaud’s wine supplier for a degustation, just around the corner.

Positive: Everything, there’s not one bad point about this property, from the hosting (which is outstanding) from Arnaud, Claire and Claire’s mother to the horses, goats, chickens and dogs, the swimming pool, the grounds the bedroom and dinner, a perfect little getaway with the marina within walking distance, I definitely shall be returning
