Ready to get away with the whole extended family or group of great friends? This is the place for you!
At Clear View Retreat, we have 4 family-style cabins. Each of them are 600 sq feet with a kitchenette and private bathroom.
Cabin 1: sleeps 6 people in 2 bedrooms
Cabin 2: sleeps 6 people in 2 bedrooms
Cabin 3: sleeps 7 people in 3 bedrooms
Cabin 4: sleeps 6 people in 2 bedrooms
Additionally, "The Lodge" has a full kitchen, indoor sitting area, and covered porch eating area with playground area and horseshoe pits nearby. Using the Lodge IS included with this facility rental. Please note that our volunteer staff is onsite and will at various times be entering the Lodge, especially the Laundry/Chemical Room and the Electrical Closet. While you may choose to sleep people in the Lodge, there are no specific sleeping spaces in the Lodge (no beds, only couches), and our volunteer staff may need to enter the Lodge at any time.

Summary: Host was very friendly and informative. From check-in till check-out, this was the absolute best site for our family of 18 and their pets to reunite and fellowship. Cabins are charming and the lodge is huge. Kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook, and I mean everything. We made use of the many yard and indoor games as well as enjoyed the wooded setting. There are many nature activities in the area. We have already begun to plan the next gathering, and all the votes are for the returning.

Summary: Coming from several locations in KY, NC, and TN and needing separate living and sleeping spaces for each of our families meeting up for a long weekend, we came upon the Clear View Retreat. The cabins, Quad, and Lodge worked out perfectly for our group, ages 2 through 70ish. Each of the cabins were clean and well maintained. Having rented lots of things through VRBO, the cabin space and conditions are better than the listing's pictures. We used the Lodge to make our meals and enjoyed eating outside on the covered porch. The fire pits made for great s'more making and story telling. Some of us got out to Lilly Bluff and Frozen Head for some great hiking. Collectively, we're trying to figure out a way back to CVR.

Summary: The sleeping was comfortable and there was plenty of space on site for the kids to run and play and for the adults to take a couple of meandering walks in the woods. The kitchen was adequate and well stocked. The manager was excellent.
