Positive: Beautiful riverside location. Received a warm welcome on check-in. Staff were polite and helpful throughout. The room was perfect, both in terms of comfort and temperature. Breakfast the following morning was nice and the “help yourself” buffet style meant we could take as much as we wanted. I will definitely be returning to the Clayton.

Negative: I couldn’t fault anything with the hotel itself, but Steamboay Quay car park is a very tight squeeze for vehicles. However that is not the fault of the hotel as it is not their property.

Summary: Very enjoyable stay, beautiful riverside location.

Positive: A really fab hotel. Everything was perfect. Excellent customer service. I got a free upgrade to a deluxe room. Lovely food in the bar and great facilities. Very good central local with wonderful views from the room. A really relaxed and great stay. 10/10 ..I would stay here again.

Positive: Lovely hotel, big rooms with a fantastic view. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and had the breakfast in the morning and everything was exceptional. The whole hotel had a great buzz about it. We will definitely stay again!
