Positive: Luca was extremely helpful! The view was incredible! My husband and I joked that the the hotel should be named “Clark De Luca” because he was helping coordinate and helped us get familiar with the area by explaining the good places to go. He worked at being a good host.

Negative: The bed was killing my back. It was not a real mattress, it was a memory foam mat basically. The comforter had a big rip in it. That was in the upper/mid level room. There were no curtains or ways to block the window. One window in particular was of concern was a giant window to the same level outside with a direct view from the pool. Some privacy is important. We tried to pull the lamp in front of the window to provide at least some privacy. If you think you will be able to use Uber or taxi, it can be pretty complicated. There are no Uber. Taxi service is limited and arranging the taxi when your skills at speaking Italian are limited.

Summary: Scenic, peaceful, beautiful sunrise and sunset, minimal privacy in room, very uncomfortable bed.
