Summary: It was a pit stop along our travels. It was an average room for a 1 night stay wouldnt recommend for more than 1 night.

Summary: I received a call an hour or so before I arrived at the hotel and was asked if I really needed a handicapped room so I think they had someone that was wanting a room and I said no I am disabled but not in a wheelchair but if I could get a room with two queen beds on the first floor that would be OK. So when I got there, I got the room on the first floor two queen beds and was going to take a shower, but I couldn’t figure out how to turn the shower on so I had to call the front desk and the lady was nice and told me how to do it, but it was very strange and the nozzle where the water comes out was loose and had been caulked but was clearly broken. But the shower was functional however, it was quite dangerous even for a non-disabled person. There are no grab bars and the tub sits high up when you’re inside the shower and the floor of the tub is sloped and there wasn’t any grippy’s or very little grippy on the bottom and it was slippery and seemed like a fall could have an easily either while in the shower or getting in or out of the shower. The room itself was decent. Bathroom was small. It was clean enough, but everything did seem a little bit rundown in the building in general. The staff was very nice. We weren’t able to take advantage of the breakfast because we had to leave before it started. The price was right and the day was OK and it was clean, outdoors. Also needs revamped and fake flowers are stuck in the ground, which looks kind of tacky. Tub is unsafe.

Summary: The whole experience with our hotel stay was great and checked all the boxes, with one exception—not having an elevator. After a long day of driving across the country, coupled with a girlfriend who needs 3 suit cases to have all her stuff to get ready, the last thing I was expecting to have to do was carry all our stuff up a flight of stair. It being a hotel I expected an elevator instead of “motel like” stairs only!
