Positive: Sifting thought the choices, this property stood out. Hotels stay’s can become so monotonous. But Clarabella proved to be much than change. It felt like home in the middle of nowhere, yet, so close to the airport. Alesia was available on call for assistance and suggestions.

Negative: The taxi guy got confused at 6:25 AM. He was standing at the other (49) gate. With language barriers (my Italian is very poor), it could’ve gotten dramatic. Perhaps added a little extra to the bill. About 6 Kms from the airport but a 40 Euro cab ride. But, the cab driver via the taxi service called me on my India number. That was already reassuring.

Positive: Beautiful and spacious house with lovely garden. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Air-conditioning was appreciated in the hot summer. Great for kids and families.

Negative: The location was a little challenging only because we had returned our rental cars. Would have been perfect if we had a car. Host was great at proving details for a taxi company.

Summary: Great place for families with a car needing to stay near Fiumicino airport.
