Positive: The owner was extremely kind, leaving us some wonderful treats for our birthday and anniversary. The flat was immaculate, with pretty much everything you’d need for a short stay. The location was close to the train station and bus, although a little less salubrious than expected. I would absolutely stay here again.

Negative: The beds are a little uncomfortable, perhaps a firm topper would be helpful. The water pressure in the taps in the bathroom was terrible, gives no hot water and the hot water in the shower wasn’t good enough. The overpowering air fresheners around the house were also too much. Perhaps a full length mirror would be a good idea. It was a bit noisy from the other flats in the complex.

Summary: Apart from the few gripes I’ve mentioned, it was an excellent stay, and I’d highly recommend it.

Positive: Property has been very well refurbished, with excellent facilities. Plenty of space for the four of us, plenty of towels, crockery etc. Very good value for money, easy transport links to the centre of London and beyond, lots of places to eat and drink within five minutes walk. Parking is right outside the door. There is a park two minute walk away and for the more athletic a run around Clapham Common is easy to do. Ideal location for Battersea Park/power station, Wimbledon, London city. The apartment faces a primary school which I thought would be noisy, but it wasn’t. Access to the property straightforward & communications with host good.

Negative: Property is in a block of flats that has an internal rubbish chute which means the entranceway to the apartment is a bit smelly… But certainly not inside the apartment! Parking suggests free parking but it is actually £15 per week-day (but free at the weekends) if arranged by the host. This is a very reasonable cost given other accommodations were in the region of £40 per day, however it wasn’t clear on the booking information.
