Summary: It's not a resort, it's a small hotel. It's fine for what it is. It's just not how it is represented. It's by itself in the middle of a neighborhood. To go anywhere at all requires a long drive or a very expensive cab ride. The staff is friendly.

Summary: This was our second stay with Ms. Diana at Clandestino. We love her and the peaceful retreat she has created. My kids are 17 and 9, and they love everything about Clandestino. The pool is amazing. We especially enjoy all Ms. Diana’s adopted furr-babies, including Pippa the raccoon. Everything there is done with love. Cannot wait to return! 💚🌴

Summary: The owner Diana and her assistant Joel are wonderful. Diana was so helpful when I received about 30 sand flea bites…not on property btw. Sat on a log on beach watching sunset in a skort! She made something with cloves in it to rub on them. The beach is sooo beautiful! So many shells and sand dollars! It is very quiet …. Perfect for 2 or 3 days!

Summary: We wanted a relaxing last couple of days after a longer run around vacation. We loved that we didn’t have to go anywhere and everything and not we needed was found right outside our door. Great location, very nice rooms, and a very private relaxing atmosphere.

Summary: The room was excellent. Loved that every cabin had a little porch on the front on which the guests could relax. I came to the beach resort to finally have some days without hiking or exploring and it was perfect for getting away from the crowds that exist elsewhere in Costa Rica. It felt like the beach was private. There enough other guests there to keep any lonely vibes away but it was so peaceful. You can hear the constant sound of waves from the beachfront rooms and it's amazing. Very nice place especially for a good price.

Summary: We had the most amazing week at Clandestino Beach Resort and can’t wait to you! If you’re looking for easy access to activities around Costa Rica and the perfect home base, you won’t be disappointed! The staff are very kind and helpful, we felt like family by the end of the week! The bungalows were magical and the restaurant was fabulous. The pool and beach were perfect, plus the resort dogs were a true treat!

Summary: Fresh juice, breads, small pastries, coffee and egg to order options included. Addional breakfast items available on the menu if desired at additional cost. The pancakes and french toast were delicious. We didnt have a beach view from the room but could see it from the dining and pool area. It is very close. We loved hearing the crashing waves at night it was lovely to fall asleep to.

Summary: This is authentic Costa Rica. Absolutely beautiful property in the world of many critters including dogs, a raccoon, crabs, and crawly critters. It's best to just embrace that factor because if you're looking for a beautiful, off the beaten path stay with the highest quality staff this is your pick. We had a wonderful stay

Summary: Great resort and gread beachside hotel food was great but the long dirt road you have to travel every time to go anywhere suck but the resort itself is fantastic falily atmosphere very friendly and safe and the rooms were very nice and authentic jungle style
