Summary: The staff (Coco, Steve, Thomas, Charles) were exceptional, and the only reason I give the hostel high marks. The property was clean, the beds comfortable, but the bad part was the kitchen with non-working fridge, no soap and paper towels- those would be nice even at an economy class hostel. Thank you anyway! M

Summary: Overall, my stay was okay – you get what you pay for. The beds were clean and surprisingly comfortable, and even though there were always people coming and going, it wasn’t too noisy most of the time. Of course, there were a few guests who snored loudly or kept opening and closing the door a thousand times, but that’s just part of the hostel experience, I guess.
The only real downside for me was the bathrooms. The toilets and showers were unfortunately very dirty – with grime, hair, and even some black mold in places. I honestly didn’t go to the toilet once without disinfecting everything first. That’s definitely something that needs improvement.
I understand the staff have a lot to do, but if the bathrooms were cleaned more thoroughly and more often (not just a quick wipe-over), the whole place would feel much nicer overall. Apart from that, it’s decent for the price, but the hygiene in the sanitary areas really needs attention.

Summary: Underbed was never cleaned and smelled terrible. Room was too small to have like 20 people sleeping in it. No outlet in hostel. Everyone was throwing there stuff everywhere. Unusable small lockers. Nowhere to eat pretty much. Bed was comfortable, but they make you put on your own sheets which is hard if not trained. 2 bathrooms for the whole hostel. Showers weren’t bad but need to bring own towel and shampoo. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good area but far from Amsterdam.
